WHY KYOWA
Four Reasons to Choose KYOWA
Over 40 Years of Business in the United States
Our group has operated in the United States since the 1980s. We make practical proposals based on local business practices, experience with retailers and the realities of logistics on the ground.
REASON 2
Group Logistics Facilities Across North America and Asia
We use our group's logistics facilities to handle storage and shipping. Together with our drayage (container trucking) network from ports and rail terminals, we manage everything from arrival to delivery.
One Point of Contact from Shipping to Delivery
There is no need to use separate providers for international shipping, customs clearance, warehousing and local delivery. A single point of contact makes communication and coordination smoother.
A Japanese-Speaking Point of Contact
Japanese-speaking staff assist you from the first consultation through day-to-day operations, reducing the burden of dealing with local providers in English and handling U.S. paperwork.
TWO WAYS
Two Ways to Enter North America
Sell under your own name, or let us handle the selling. Choose the approach that fits your goals and resources.
Sell It Yourself
You sell in North America, and we handle the logistics: international shipping, customs clearance coordination, warehousing and delivery.
- Sell under your own brand
- Amazon, retailers and your own online store
- Use only the services you need
Let Us Sell It for You
We also plan to offer an option where we purchase your products and sell them to North American customers through our group's channels. You do not need to handle English-language negotiations or local sales operations yourself.
- A wide range of product categories can be considered
- Backed by our business with major North American retailers
- Sold both in stores and online
CASES
Use Cases
The logistics you need depend on how you sell. We propose a logistics setup that fits your sales channels.
Selling Through Amazon FBA
We receive goods shipped from Japan at our group's warehouse, palletize them and make split deliveries to the Amazon FBA warehouses designated by Amazon.
- Receiving and palletizing
- Split shipments to multiple FBA warehouses
- Temporary storage and replenishment of inventory
Wholesaling to U.S. Retailers
We ship to stores and distribution centers in line with each retailer's delivery requirements (labels, pallets, delivery times, etc.).
- Compliance with retailer delivery requirements
- Shipping by pallet or case
- Truck transport arrangements (FTL and LTL)
Fulfilling Orders from Amazon, eBay, Wayfair and More
Keep inventory in a local warehouse and we pick, pack and ship each order from Amazon (merchant-fulfilled), eBay, Wayfair, your own online store and more. It's faster and cheaper than shipping each order from Japan.
- Order-by-order fulfillment
- Integration with Shopify and other e-commerce platforms
- Return receiving and inspection
Exporting Large Goods and Equipment
For large and heavy items such as machinery, furniture and building materials, we arrange everything from container shipping to local storage and delivery to the destination.
- Container (FCL) shipping
- Storage of heavy and oversized cargo
- Overland transport between the U.S. and Canada or Mexico
